All successes by my book.  I'm just not sure if I'm getting the
advantage of server-side preparation or merely the DBI quote handling.
It'd be nice to have the server-side preparation but just letting DBI
handle the quotes is a *HUGE* advantage in my book.

That's the actual execute statement, i.e.:
$sth->execute('zumma');

Not in those tests.  That query was a simple select from a table.
