[freetds] Compiling freetds 0.61 source in cygwin (fixed)

Hi, James,

Here is the information from my system:

autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57
automake (GNU automake) 1.7.3
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4a (1.641.2.255 2001/05/22 10:39:30)

Basically I do not have the libtool installed in cygwin. The libtool is what
come with the free-tds packages.

As for the mysterious line "Autoconf version 2.13", it acutally come form
"autoconf --version". Here is the full text.

autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57

Autoconf version 2.13

This is autoconf-wrapper, which will hand off execution
to one of the two real versions listed above, depending
on the contents of configure.in/configure.ac. Since the
wrapper was called from within a directory in which those
files are not found, this generic 'version' message is
displayed.

I guess the number is to indicate the version of the autoconf wrapper.

Regards,

Anthony

The configure script is generated by autoconf and is not maintained in
CVS. It is regenerated nightly as part of the nightly snapshot with
autogen.sh.

What does the following report for you?

$ (V='--version'; autoconf $V; automake $V; libtool $V) |grep GNU
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57
automake (GNU automake) 1.7.3
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4a (1.641.2.255 2001/05/22 10:39:30)

--jkl
