Ignoring the fact that the GPL is misplaced on that chart...

On one hand, I can see where that map might be useful for making
comparisons, but on the other hand it kind of implies to a casual viewer
that licensing becomes less legal and/or moral as it becomes more open.
Everything to the left of the dotted line are ways that people license
their *own* works, while the things to the right of the dotted line all
involve using the works of others without permission.  The things on either
side of the dotted line don't even really belong on the same chart; you
have apples on one side and oranges on the other.
