[b-hebrew] Translating Targum Frag. of Is 1:27

I believe you've corrected me well. If "merit" is indeed correct, could we see shades of a "martyrdom theology" when this word is combined with "perish"? When I compare the MT, the OG, and these fragments of Targumim, I see three distinctly different emphases regarding Is 1:27. Jon Henry
