I say ¨Amen¨ to everything that Kenneth Greifer wrote in his letter. That is
a good letter.
When you first started posting, you admitted your ignorance, asking if there
were linguistic evidence to back up your theories. Upon being informed that
there is no linguistic evidence to back you up, instead of taking your lumps
and learning from them, you answered with long screeds trying to convince us
of your rightness.
I joined this list to learn from others. To my surprise, my knowledge is
better than I expected. But I make mistakes, and when that mistake is rather
elementary, I feel sort of foolish, but learn from them. I have changed my
mind sometimes in the midst of a discussion when I realized my original idea
didn´t hold water.
The choice is up to you. You can remain a member of this group, ask
questions, and learn, or you can leave and self-publish your ideas, but
please stop posting those long screeds that convince none of us, rather are
Karl W. Randolph.
