Dear Members,

A quick reminder to always check your subject line when posting a message to B-Hebrew. This is particularly important if you receive messages from the list in digest form, as simply replying to the digest will give the digest number as the subject line. This hides the nature of your message from people on the list who may be of potential help to your discussion.

Also, as a discussion meanders through different topics, it is always helpful to change the subject line to reflect the real nature of the discussion. When this happens, it is wise to indicate the name of the old thread in the brackets for the sake of continuity. For example: *The meaning of DWD (was Hebrew Orthography)*. This will be of great benefit to your potential conversation partners on the list, as well as make searching the archives a lot easier.

Best Regards,
Fellow Chairman, B-Hebrew
