[b-hebrew] Two Ha'aretz [Hebrew] reviews

    This is a follow-up to Uri Hurwitz's posting regarding the publication
of a modern Hebrew translation of LXX Genesis.
    The Sefarim section of the January 6, 2006 Hebrew-language on-line
edition of Ha'aretz  has two book reviews that may be of interest to list
    One is of the book mentioned by Uri Hurwitz, the recently issued The
Septuagint Version of the Book of Genesis, a Hebrew-language annotated
translation of the Septuagint on Genesis by Prof. Moshe A. Zipor of the
Department of Bible, Bar-Ilan University (Bar-Ilan University Press, 653
pp., 2005, ISBN 965 240 4, List Price: $ 59).  The review is by Dr. Michael
Avioz, also of Bar-Ilan's Department of Bible.  Dr. Avioz's review may be

    The second review is by Prof. Yehoshua Schwartz of the recently issued
volume 3 of Meghillot : Studies in the Dead Sea Scrolls.  The volume
contains a collection of articles in Hebrew dealing with various aspects of
the Qumran scrolls, and is edited by Moshe Bar-Asher and Devorah Dimant.
