It is YCR HR( (yetzer hara'), as contrasted with YCR H+WB (yetzer hatov).
It is a rabbinic phrase based on Gen 6:5 and 8:21, where, however, the
words are not right next to each other.
>A colleague of mine was wanting the Hebrew phrase which is translated as
>'evil impulses of the heart'. Apparently, it is either a Rabbinic phrase,
>or a common Jewish phrase. Does anyone know what the phrase in question
>is, and where it may come from?
