het-resh-mem = banned, forbidden; anathema, taboo
(compare Hermes who lived at Mt. Hermon and the
Strait of Hormuz before he moved to Mt. Olympus)
is a near (sound-alike) reversal of
mem-lamed-khaf = MoLeKH/Moloch, a Canaanite god
that required human sacrifice.
