dear b-haverim,

i think i have a good jump on the problem of nunation: by diachronics, by
modality, etc. i think i've got the final piece of the puzzle:
phonology. i'm working with the analogy of moveable nu (yes, virginia,
sometimes hebrew is like greek). i've put a rough draft in my papers
site:

any feedback is appreciated. i'm going to reread Zewi and Hoftijzer again
before i work on a submission draft....

shalom,
V--
