Yes, I do have a problem. In your own words slightly modified: "We have
no evidence for an oral tradition but we do have evidence of a literary
tradition to which Enuma Elish belongs." So let's deal with the text of
Enuma Elish as we have it, not speculate about lost works or oral
traditions whether Hebrew or Mesopotamian.
