publication? hmmm, yes. well, initially the first stuff is coming out
in relatively obscure places, e.g., festschrifts, working papers, etc.
the real problem is finding the time to write it up (instead of doing
email?): postdoctoral life is not such that permits leisure for
scholarly writing <big sigh>. i of course would post a notice if
something were available. problem is, to write something that doesn't
presuppose lots of background would be a big monograph in itself: i
guess ultimately that will be the goal: some sort of textbook.
paul, just out of curiosity: how much do you know about the accents as
a system, e.g.? how much about pausal phonology?
