Gospel of John 4:7...LEGEI AUTHi hO IHSOUS, DOS MOI PEIN.

I’m trying to understand Infinitives, and would like for anyone to explain
to me the syntax of DOS MOI PEIN. I understand that MOI is an unusual
instance of a Dative used as ‘subject’ of an Infinitive. In what sense is
MOI acting as the subject of PEIN?

Kindly,
Delbert Flora
