I heard N.T. Wright deliver a lecture in Memphis, TN a few years ago in 
which he argued that words ending in -IKOS refer to animation and not 
substance.  He then applied this to YUXIKOS and PNEUMATIKOS in 1 Cor 
15:44-46 to argue for a spirit-animated body versus a flesh-animated one.  
Is this principle linguistically valid?
