Hebrews 10:22

I am wondering if anyone can shed some light on the two participles that
come in the second half of Heb. 10:22.

The text says: "Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance
of faith, having our hearts sprinkled (hRERANTISMENOI) clean from an evil
conscience and our bodies washed (LELOUSMENOI) with pure water" (NASB).

Am I correct in seeing these two participles as causal? This would give
the sense, "Let us draw near . . . because our hearts are sprinkled . . .
because our bodies are washed . . ."

To what do these participles refer? Does it refer to the cleansing we
receive at salvation?
How are the two related to each other?
