Hi folks!

We're having a great month so far! I hope that you are, too!

We're having our bathroom painted tomorrow (thursday) so we won't have public bathrooms tomorrow. Just so you know!

We have a super cool Third Thursday planned for This Thursday at Wheatsville!!!

Please join us as we bid adieu to Wheatsville's unofficial house band, Herb Pharm! Say goodbye to Catfish Jack as he heads off to California! Don't miss this great group's final performance! (until the 2022 reunion, of course!) 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
A performance by the Austin artists Yellow Tape Construction Co. at 8:45 pm. For a sense of what these folks are all about, here is their "Call to Arms" from their web-site:
Yellow Tape Construction Co. is here to further the next generation of a truly great, wholly original, definitively American performance aesthetic. At the intersection of dance, theatre, music and performance art, we are creating a new community of artists and patrons -- laying a foundation of strength and support through innovative arts programming and fearless new work.

Because artists can do heavy lifting.

<x-tad-bigger> "Cyclotherapy"</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> (USA, 2002, 67 min, Dir. George Ferguson)

Meet some true bike-a-holics in a fascinating documentary about the passion and obsession of collecting "Lemon Peelers",  "Sting Rays", "Orange Krates"…These men live for the bicycle! The documentary "Cyclotherapy" explores the subculture of the vintage bicycle collectors through more than a dozen interviews and

</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger>    "Velorution: One City's Solution to the Automobile"</x-tad-bigger><x-tad-bigger> (USA, 1996 30 min, Dir. C. Phred Churchill, Bruce Petschek)

When the USSR collapsed, Cuba lost 80% of their oil supply. This movie documents how they bought 1.2 million bicycles, switched 5 bus factories to bicycle manufacturing, educated riders on how to ride, changed the city of Havana to accommodate bikes, posted bicycle signs, did job swaps to reduce length of commutes and in the process created more human interaction and community A truly inspiring video.

</x-tad-bigger>Also, back by popular demand, sidewalk shoe sale next door at Instep!

We hope you can join us! It should be fun!
