Ahem, I knew him as "lejatorn" initially, I suppose a little slip of a finger
on the "g", here;-)

Yup, we do. And I'll remember your participation in the first Council Of
Mages Europe, as one of the few people in SMGL that -- gosh! -- actually got
a real face, with flesh 'n bones 'n stuff;-)

I'm also not as active as I should be, and must confess that I don't keep on
running SMGL on so many machines as I used to, but it proves valuable for the
machines I mess around with a lot -- my workhorse laptops. Perhaps there will
be some time to implement the proper account managing ... or get castfs to
the next logical step to cache spell installations and roll in the updates in
a bunch to make upgrades of interdependent stuff proper. Perhaps...

One can dream, but real life puts pressure on us all (thanks for your time
carrying the pointy PL hat, Eric). All in all, of course one can dream about
how Source Mage could prosper with some more full-time devotion, but in fact
I am happy that it maintains the level it does; always staying usable for the
savant people with reasonable fuss. In the end -- we've come a good deal
forward since the time I started using it. What with regular grimoire
releases and all; finally having x86-64 ISOs. Though, I guess the effort to
keep an Alpha port working will not be carried through (by me), especially
since glibc folks have no interest in keeping non-core platforms going (like,
ARM). It's a pity, as it's really just glibc and the bootloader needing
patching... but generally, it's a childish playground and we have to grow up
some time:-/ (though, the cool EV67 will stay around)

Well, miss you folks that are leaving/stepping down ... but be assured that
Source Mage will continue to thrive -- at it's own pace. Man, I'm talking
rubbish, ain't I? '-) Good Night.

Alrighty then,

Thomas.
