Doesn't kudzu automatically do something like checking for new hardware? I saw
that you added a kudzu package. I'd say that the install script should be
installed by a spell (kudzu?) and have an init script that can be
enabled/disabled by the user. I like the idea of storing system settings in
/etc/sysconfig, and smgl-hwd would work, but since it probably won't be typed
often, perhaps smgl-hardware or hardware-auto-detect or something?
