Hello all,

Just a quick note to let you know I've finally found some time to produce a
decent hwd script.

It seems to work ok (tested on 3 machines), but I don't have 'exotic'
hardware
underhand. Anyway, I will make some cosmetic corrections and put it in p4.

BTW; Suggestions welcome on how to handle the mechanism: should we run the
script at each boot, with a /etc/sysconfig/smgl-hwd (for example) file for
checking new hardware or ??or??

Let me know

Cheers!
