Robin et.al.,

This thread has caught my attention. Robin, I've had the same problem you
have, as far as not seeing mail show up right away. All of my hd mount
points (including /tmp) are set for defaults, notail, noatime. Yes, my /tmp
is a reiserfs partition. Is this a problem?

My question is what options should i choose for a midpoint between stability
and speed? If i could get rid of the noatime, that would be great...what
options do you all use for reiserfs?

Can I just change the options in /etc/fstab and then reboot? Is that all
there
is to it?

Thanx,

Bearcat
