These appear to be drone cells. Increased drone production this time of year is to be expected.

If anyone can give some advise.

Sunday we opened a hive and between the brood box and super are these cells (pics attached) are they drones or queen?. We really want to avoid a swarm and do a split before anything happens.  Any ideas?
