Proposal for Permaculture Unconference

The basic idea is to have regular meetups work toward and host a
Permaculture <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture>
Unconference<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconference> in
the Bay Area early in 2011.

*The tentative theme is
Liberation<http://permaculture.tv/liberation-permaculture-design-course/>
Industrial<http://industrialpermaculture.org/content/industrial-permaculture>
Permaculture <http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Main_Page>* and would
be organised around the attendance of Marcin Jubowski from the Open Source
Ecology <http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Main_Page>project

Open Source
Ecology<http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Open_Source_Ecology>
is
a movement dedicated to the collaborative development of
tools<http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=GVCS_tools> for
replicable, open source, modern off-grid “resilient communities.” By using
permaculture <http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Category:OSA> and
digital
fabrication <http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Open_Source_Fab_Lab>
together
to provide for basic needs and open source methodology to allow low cost
replication of the entire operation, we hope to empower anyone who desires
to move beyond the struggle for survival and “evolve to
freedom<http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=Evolve_to_freedom>
.”
