Hello Marjory and All,

I too am interested in a non-electric grinder (like my
Grandma used to use - for nuts and coffee and corn and
meat and everything!)

Lehmann's products are good. Corona hand mill can be used for grain, seeds, nuts and beans. Make corn flour, corn meal and grits with this simple, durable grinder. If you use it for grains only you might want the stone burrs, otherwise get the steel burrs as stone will not work OK for oily seeds and nuts.
Grind raw sesame seeds, macadamia, brazil or almond nuts in this mill as protein topping for raw salad. Hand crank meat grinder can be used for meat or for such tasks as:
Chill sweet tart apples (Stayman Starkspur is great) then quarter and clean and put through meat grinder with coarse screen. You have cold raw applesauce - add chopped Barhi dates and you have a real treat for breakfast.
