Please pass this along to any Texans you know. As
I understand it they are planning a cooperative
along the same lines as we have in Oklahoma, it
will only sell foods from the North Texas area.
Such coops are a way to do Zone 3 in an urban
area. Texas is the 3rd state to get as far as
holding a meeting an electing officers. The
Nebraska Food Cooperative is well on its way,
their first sale will be in February 2006, and
they have been down to visit us twice.
