Just curious if anyone knows the intentions of postcarbon.org? I found

their site through a link at www.eugenepermacutlureguild.org and was reading some of the their more recent news articles. Very good articles. I then ventured into the "jobs" category and this is what I found:


Position: Office Manager

Description:
Coordinate between all aspects, ‘Initiatives’, and projects of our organization. Manage the business and financial aspects of our organization. Help coordinate volunteers, write grants and steward donors, develop policies and procedures. Manage other assistants. Manage our online bookstore. Pay our bills and our other contractors. Manage the paperwork with our lawyer (in Oregon) with regard to governmental reporting and for developing new projects which are fiscally sponsored by MetaFoundation. Book speaking engagements for the organizations principals. Database management. More things as our organization grows.

This job is 40 hours a week 9-5 or 10-6. We are somewhat flexible.

Qualifications:
Professional manager. Skilled in financial management, Volunteer management, Fundraising, Grant writing and Donor stewardship. Good at developing systems, policies and procedures. Keeping government forms up-to-date. Computer and web skills. An interest in environmental and energy issues, as well as current affairs and culture, would be a distinct asset. Must be detail-oriented, careful, and meticulous. A proven ability to analyse problems and develop structural and strategic responses. We are looking for someone with the chutzpah to help us transform from a volunteer-driven organization into an **International Multi-million dollar per year organization**. For the right person this will be a very exciting and fulfilling position.
