Same questions apply to rural growing as far as I can see... i think it's a
misnomer to assume that urban growing is intrinisically more prone to
contamination and pollution than growing in that giant factory pharm known
as 'the countryside'. Urban Permaculture projects such as naturewise
http://www.naturewise.org.uk/ even argue that growing in cities is probabaly
MORE healthy for us. Tara Garnett also did a report on growing food in
cities which looks at some of these issues, see
