This is a friend's colony in Carrboro. It practiced swarming 2 times on Thursday and at least once on Saturday. The bees left the hive, flew around in the air, only to return to the hive. Perhaps the queen didn't want to leave home. Or couldn't. Sooner or later they may actually leave. This weather is confusing the bees.

No trees or bees were killed in the distribution of this message, but countless electrons were seriously inconvenienced.
