Hi Chris and Matthew,
I wanted to bring the project below to your attention.  I just met with Matt who was in town to scout out some locations for his Bee murals. I am hoping that one of our schools can be one of his sites.

Matt Willey is a muralist who is working on a national program to paint 50,000 bees in murals across the country to bring attention to the importance and current struggle of bees. More information is below in an email from Matt.  The kickstarter link has a good video where Matt explains the project and his passion.  His website is: http://www.thegoodofthehive.com/   and his kickstarter campaign can be found at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mattwilley/the-good-of-the-hive

I am sure that he would love for us to spread the word and the kickstarter campaign to our audiences.

—Matt Willey’s email:

If the bees teach anything it is that there is power in authentic connection.

The Good of the Hive is an initiative with a goal of hand-painting 50,000 honeybees in murals across the country to raise awareness about their current challenges, celebrate their amazing behaviors and draw attention to the inextricable bond between humans and honeybees.

My name is Matt Willey and I am an artist that founded the initiative. I am also the guy painting the bees. www.TheGoodoftheHive.com

We all know that what is going on with the honeybees is a very big problem. If change is to be made, all bee-people must come together!
