Hey all!
I'm a second year beekeeper working with a community garden and we've
overwintered 2 hive this past winter. They were doing well into the spring,
so well that both hives swarmed (probably more than once). After the
swarming, we went into the hives and found no queen in either hive, as well
as no eggs, larva or brood. We then decided to requeen them and the queens
were released a couple of weeks ago. There is minimal brood present at this
time and we see no new eggs, or larva burt there are a couple of queen cells
present and still see no queen in either hive. I'm perplexed, and could
really use an experienced set of eyes to tell me what I'm seeing or missing.
I can understand them not accepting one of the queens but not both.

Anyway, I'm in Chapel Hill and would really appreciate an experienced
beekeeper to take a look and give us some advice as to what's going on as
soon as possible so we don't lose both colonies.
