Meri
and I visited the Duke Gardens this morning. The Brody Discovery Center
volunteer there showed us two hives whose frames were stacked askew. The frames
inside the three supers were visible with about an inch of each exposed. Why
would this be done on active hives? With the rain we had yesterday, wouldn’t
this damage/flood the hive’s interior? The volunteer couldn’t answer these
questions. John
Friedrick
