Hello! I am new to Orange County and have one hive in Carrboro. I am looking to connect with other beekeepers in the area, preferably a mentor from time to time. Currently I am having some major issues with my hive that needs immediate attention. Them seem very aggressive (I adopted them a month ago from a friend in Chatham County). That just don't seem to be acquainting themselves very easily. I see normal activity such as collecting pollen happening, but they are congregating a lot on the front of the hive and in some way "attacking" us, as in I can't even work in the yard without getting stung! Help! I don't know if they are over crowded, or maybe they need to be re queened but I really need some assistance going into the hive to observe.
 Thanks!
Carly

Something for the beekeepers and woodworkers in the club to fabricate. Thanks, Eva

Su- thought maybe Caroline would want to see.  Pretty cool esp. for showing to kids/people never done beekeeping before at a demonstration.
