I have named mine Rosamund and Elinore for Italian queens. Rosamund is in the hive on the right and Elinore is on the left.

So I noticed a lot of people named their hives because it's easier to
keep track of them. I just got a 2nd hive (swarm) and I'm about to
get a third (package).
In my original hive I had a supercedure at some time, so I considered
that a "forced abdication" of the throne and decided to call her QE2
(and to therefore label her brood boxes as Buckingham palace). I
thought it was funny anyway, even if it's not quite historically
accurate.
Anybody have any good popstar/celebrity/politician names they like?
When I get a Georgia package I'm going to have to name it Peach or
Peaches, though...
