Thank you Randall.

It’s easy to forget that we are not sending letters to a machine, but to real people.  We ought to all remember that ALL of this is searchable on Google-this is a public forum.  If you are employed by someone, they can see this.  If you are self-employed, your potential clients can see this.  Everyone should take some time to look at the other side’s perspective and type as though you are talking at a public meeting to the person (or company representative) you are typing about.  There are some good questions being asked.  But it's important to remember that most of the time disagreements arise when people are just approaching a subject from different perspectives.

Folks,

Please don't post libelous comments to this beekeeping list. Remember that all it takes for someone to be an internet expert is a keyboard and an opinion. To be a real expert requires education, specialized training and years of direct experience. Despite the passion of someone's opinions, to accuse real experts of fraud and deception in a public forum such as this widely distributed list is not acceptable in polite society. Raise queries, offer personal insights, question the status quo, but do not insult people's integrity or knowledge. These are just bees we are talking about; they aren't nearly as important as the basic humanity of the people we are conversing with.

Thanks Annallys,

Just signed and will be passing this on.

Its still SO hard to believe that they were not intentionally hiding something anymore after Dick showed us his own Bayer Slides showing they knew bees have 3 "zones" they forage in. Just the first zone(ring) on HIS slide alone is over 3,000 acres so WHY only do a test on 2.5 acres if your own science shows they can forage up to 10,000 acres??   Intent has many faces....

Hopefully REAL science will prevail soon...for the best health for us all.

Hi all,

Please visit the following site to review a legal petition requesting the EPA suspend registration for the bee-toxic pesticide, clothianidin.  Please note in the comments section that another pesticide imidacloprid also produced by Bayer may have a higher lethality index for honey bees.
