On the right is a jar of honey we harvested in June. Oh the left, one we harvested a few days ago. We have never harvested honey that dark before. But we have never harvested in August, either. It has a very distinctive flavor, slightly molasses-y. Just out of curiosity, does anyone have an idea what the bees were bringing in that could make that dark honey? -Elisabeth Curtis
