Rhonda,
That's a good question.  I don't think I have ever seen anything like that.  My first guess is it may be from a hummingbird feeder.

Will anyone take a crack at this question?  Please respond to ocba AT lists.ibiblio.org so that we can all discuss this.

Hi Lewis,
 
Question for you...  what plant/flower provides blue nectar?  Take a peek at the photo to see a couple of the cells...not a great pic as far as seeing the nectar...I'll go back in this week to try for a better photo...a friend took it ;)  There isn't an entire frame of it... just kind of a splattered pattern. lol
 
***second pic...(forgot about this one) ...what provides this pink nectar?  ***sorry for the bad angle***
