Randall,

I apologize – I shortened my original email and then forgot to put back in my location – I live in Jamestown, NC, which is between Greensboro and High Point – a few miles off I-85 South about an hour west of Durham.

Michael,

I received the note below from Becky Bollinger concerning your honey bees. Where is your storage barn located?

Becky,

You spoke with Dee Whitaker earlier today regarding the honey bees I have in my storage barn. I would love to keep them, however, the location is such that everyone who comes around gets stung, so I need to have them taken away.

The problem is that the storage barn has interior wall panels (the hive is between the exterior and interior walls), and, in addition, there are shelves along the interior wall in the area where the hive is located. Anyone wanting to gain access to the hive will need to remove the shelves, and then remove the interior wall panels. I don’t think it will be very difficult – however, it will require a crowbar and a hammer, or other appropriate tools.

As Dee told you, we own and publish Natural Awakenings magazine in the Triangle. The magazine is distributed throughout Wake, Durham, Orange and the surrounding counties. Each month, our publication reaches an estimated 65,000 readers who are oriented toward natural health and locally grown natural foods.

We would like to propose a barter situation, whereby we would trade an ad, and perhaps even a short article, in return for the bee removal services we need.

Thank you so much for your offer to help us find the right person.

Regards,

Michael
