Dan, apricots are extremely fragile trees in the humid regions and die in
my nursery for reasons inexplicable. Gurney's is as I describe it (not
suggesting their trees regularly die on arrival) and your survey is
extremely limited. Cummins is highly rated in reliable consumer rating
surveys I've seen and I've personally ordered scores of trees from them
over the years. I buy hundreds of trees from a range of nurseries every
year and can't accurately rate any nursery based just on my own experience-
especially in one season. All of them make mistakes- that's for sure.

Cummins is a small, family owned nursery and they are honest and
knowledgeable people with a very impressive selection of varieties. Don't
be too quick to condemn them- I'm sure they would refund you for any trees
that failed to grow.
