I can't answer your specific question, Betsy, but just make sure you pick
land which
has a broad area well below it. I'm at 1,250 feet in a hollow, and usually
colder
than a small town below at 700 feet. But on still, clear, frosty April or
October
mornings it is as much as 8 to 10 degrees warmer here. That makes all the
difference at those orchard-sensitive times.
