I haven't grown many trees on '97, but in my limited experience, it produces
a vigorous tree which is blight-resistant and productive. I grew Meigetsu on
this stock. A nice butterscotch color and a ripe watermelon flavor when
fully ripened. Some decent aromatics for an Asian pear, too.
