Jim,
I tried to follow the Aronia Topic yet I may have missed an e-mail. Do you
have a summary of what you found as the best tasting or what you are going to
try next? I would like to start a few this spring and would appreciate your
opinion.
Thank you, Anthony z4b

Alan,

Could you briefly describe how you transplant the suckers? The
success stories I've heard involve severing them from the main tree,
but leaving them in the ground for another season before digging them
up.

Alex

Murph,

We do sell Redfree, but they are on Antanovka. If you strike out
elsewhere, I may be able to help you track down some on M111 or 7.
Best,
JB

On second thought, I think I shall keep my row of two dozen Aronia
plants. I was putting the fruit into my morning cereal and noticed that
some Aronia berries had flavor and some did not. I suspect that the named
varieties are really selections from the wild and I may already have some of
them. So I'll buy, and plant, one or two of the named varieties for a
comparison. Makes sense to me.
