Should have written; use as 1/2 recommended strength
and use same amt of ammonia as SAFER SOAP.

I've had the white druplets start for 3 or 4 years on
hybrid blackberries. I think it is from a very small moth
or fly which can be seen when picking.

Excellent results with SAFER SOAP in 47% solution,
one company has it in 17% so get the 47%. Use half
strength and half ammonia. Pump hand sprayer as high
as possible and just fan the bushes, you don't have to
drench. Do this after next picking and you should see
results by following picking, that is if you pick every
three days.

Please post results, I usually get 90 to 95%, sometimes
better.

We're started picking Arapaho blackberries now, and a high percentage have
several white (or tan) drupelets per berry. The white drupelets shrivel
and
die and make the berries unappealing. There doesn't seem to be a clear
consensus among experts as to the cause of this problem (i.e. sunburn,
temperature related, genetic, etc.) I was wondering if anyone else is
seeing it this year. Also how often does this occur. Right now, it looks
like a significant amount of fruit will have to be thrown out, unless we
decide to make jam.
