Hi,

I was just reading your article on the web regarding Evans Cherry Trees. I
live in Wetaskiwin and have recently purchased a home that has an Evans
Cherry Tree planted there. I don't know how old the tree is, but it is
about 6' tall and the base of the tree is probably 4 inches in diameter.

This spring the tree flowered and cherries set, although not copious
amounts. However, in the past few weeks, the cherries have started falling
off the tree. At one point, there were some leaves with what looked like
aphid eggs, small and black? but I removed all those leaves I could find.

Do you have any information on what may be happening to the cherries? I
have really no experience with fruit trees and am sorely lacking in
information. Any information you would be willing to share with me would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Joy Genno
