Hello,

It is really getting difficult to believe media on any level anymore, as they
like to hype the
news, to boost ratings. You really have to seek out "balanced" pieces, and
that is really very
sad.

Look at Toronto and the SARS problem last spring. If people truly believed
the media, would they
have been breaking imposed quarantine? My opinion is, that if media balanced
the news, stopped
hyping the nonsense, people would take true emergencies more seriously.

Treat every story like it is the end of the world, and people just stop
listening, or get excited
about nothing.

Sorry, this only has to do with fruit as it pertains to the banana story, but
stories like that
just irritate me.

Just give me balance in fruit and media. (smile)

Later,
Tom
