Hello:
I've had great success with galvanized spreaders that I've gotten from
Growers Equipment Center, Inc. PO Box 706 Biglersville, Pa. 17307.
800-454-8943. They come in sizes from 4" to 30". They are fairly
inexpensive and last a lot longer than the Stark plastic spreaders. Chris

I just got my first issue of Pomona and enjoyed reading it. I wonder if the
NAFEX officers have considered distributing Pomona by PDF file instead of by
mail? It seems to me that the cost of publishing and mailing a magazine would
be considerably reduced especially for one of such limited distribution. I
hear many scholarly journals are going in this direction.

Giving people the choice would be one thing. But there are a lot of
people with no computer access, for financial, religious, or
philosophical reasons; you'd be cutting them out of the conversation
entirely if that were the only form of distribution. Some of them have
some excellent info.
