Steve,

For an earlier, very juicy Asian, both Shinseiki and Nijiseiki
are good, I've had them fruiting for a number of years.

Caveat:
Both seem very susceptible to a buroughing fruit "moth". They attack
the fruit late in the development cycle and what seems like "perfect"
fruit appears to ripen *very* early and drop from the tree. The
inside is often almost completely tunneled and brown w/ frass. I
don't eat one w/out quartering the fruit.
