How big a file can your handle? Or I can send you a CD if you provide a
mailing address.
First, change the name to SOG from SOP. Guidelines are should while SOP's
are shalls. If you decide something is a mandatory imperative (shall) than
not doing it or not doing it well is a violation of the SOP and is civilly
actionable and in some jurisdictions may lead to charges of criminal
negligence. A guideline allows the OIC some variation to accommodate
conditions of the mission. He has to document what he did and why, as he
would with an SOP system but he is not hanging himself out to dry by varying
from the written guideline.
