We have tried a travois to sucessfully move a do, it worked very well. The mission here is to assist (or derermine the feesability) a stokes litter team up steep slopes.

Have you thought about the travois? The only horse we tried this technique on had already been trained to pull a cart (a Standardbred off the track).
