YES YOU CAN USE A MULE FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE. WE USE THEM AND WE ALSO RAISE THEM. easleyranch@foothill.net  Bonnie Easley.

Hi,
I was wondering if you ever use mules in Search and Rescue?  I know how surefooted they are, how they have a lot of
"horse sense (or mule sense)" and that they have a relatively smooth trot or jog for long distances.  If a "good," well-trained, well-mannered mule could be found, would it work out?
I am still looking for a good search and rescue horse (or mule).
