Texas!  Usually go through a pair a year — I have a pair for “nice” wear (going into the city), and a pair for garden wear, hiking, etc

Me, too-- the clogs.  I like to be able to slip in and out of them easily.

I've been pleased with my Sloggers Women's Rain & Garden Shoes.  They are waterproof, comfortable, enough support, hold up well for multiple seasons, and if one chooses a light color, not too hot (even in tropics) despite the nonbreathing material.

Best wishes to all,

I'm so happy to see activity on this list again. Back when I was just getting my farm start in 2008 this was always a huge resource.

Right now I'm wondering what everyone's favorite footwear for the summer is? I believe this group turned me on to Keen sandals which I wore for years but the company's quality is not what it used to be and my last two pairs started to fall apart just after a month of use. I have tried some other brands with similar styles to Keen but I'm not super happy with any of them.

I grow tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomatillos, garlic, and vegetable seedlings. Most days I don't use any heavy equipment so I've been safe wearing sandal type shoes. I'm located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where the summers are hot and humid.

Can't wait to hear to hear from folks,
