I am not part of any, but it is actually fairly popular around here
under the name of "CUMA" (coopérative d'utilisation de machinerie
agricole). The concept has been imported from France, where it is known
under the same name. Usually, these are incorporated as non-profit
cooperative, and use a standard template for their charter.

It is probably not of much use if you do not read French, but if you do
(or know someone who does), search Google for "cuma agricole" and you'll
find ton of link to article and other document on the subject.
